Nanaimo Business After Business – Rate Miser Mortgage Advisors
The Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce continued its successful Business After Business Series on Feb. 25. This time round, the Nanaimo networking event was hosted by Layth Matthews from Rate Miser Mortgage Advisors at the lovely Tabu Lounge in North Nanaimo.
Now, first of all – if you live in and around Nanaimo, the Tabu Lounge offers some of the best sushi and tempura you are likely to find this side of the Pacific! The wonderful food, the laid back atmosphere and the interesting company in attendance made for a great backdrop for a presentation by Layth Matthews on assessing your personal finances.
Now, if you’re like me, discussing your personal finances is right up there with a visit to the dentist on the TO DO list. But if you have to do it (and you do!) then who better to help you through the process than a professional who is both knowledgeable and passionate about their business?
And Layth Matthews has passion in spades!
A self confessed finannce nerd, Layth is interested in the nuances of your finances that you’ve been avoiding!
But avoid it no longer. You are in clearly in good hands with Layth!

Wow Don, looks like Nanaimo is having a beautiful March. Happy Spring!
Hey Greg!
Since I made that post it’s snowed twice in Nanaimo and it’s been raining ever since. In Newfoundland, we had an expression for March: It comes in like a lamb and goes out like a lion! Seems like that expression applies to the Wet Coast too!
There’s also this expression about March which I”m sure you’re familiar with:
Beware the Ides of March!
Cheers mate!
- Don
I would love all that snow!
