About Don Power

Hey There!

After a 20 year career in Information Technology, my last contract had me working at home for the first time in my life and I loved it!

So, I decided to teach myself how to blog and to see if I could actually make a living out of it.

But you have to walk before you can run, so ithis is donpower.ME – learning how to blog by connecting with interesting folks like you!

If you’d like to see me at 25 frames per second and hear a bit more about what has brought both me and YOU, here and now, please play the video, above.

In the meantime WELCOME! And thanks for being a part of The Evolution of a Personal Blog!

If you like what you read – and even if you don’t – leave a comment below and shout out on Twitter, Facebook or Linkedin.

So, what do you think so far?

Hey!

I found your website today and just wanted to drop a friendly comment here to let you know someone finds your blog interesting and informative. Blogging is really a powerful thing it seems like these days and WordPress is your best friend when it comes to building one as far as I’ve heard across the web.

Anyway, I’m going to be checking out some more of your blog and reading your articles. Have a GREAT and safe New Year and best of luck with all your blogging ventures.

I think one of the best compliements a new blogger can get is for someone to randomly stumble upon their blog and to be engaged enough to leave a comment without any prior history or contact with the author!

So thank you for your comment, Eric!

I checked out your blog http://www.BluePop13.com and WOW! it looks great! You’ve got a TON of good, original, solid content there. You’re well on your way to establishing a presence right out of the gate!

Send me a link to your favorite post and I’ll stop by, leave a comment and subscribe to your stuff so that we can interact more in the New Year.
I see you are planniing a new venture in the New Year – so am I – so let’s stay in touch.

Sometimes you just never know where the next opportunity to collaborate is going to come from!

Thanks again Eric and Happy New Year!

Hello Don and welcome to the wonderful world of blogging and working from home. I have been doing this blogging thing for a while now and have just launched an internet marketing consult co in the town where I “retired” to. I too “stumbled” upon your blog and liked your style, for an IT guy you write pretty good! Just kidding Don, anything I can do to help just ask, and good luck with your new venture.

Hi Don. I guess we are in the same boat here. I’m also learning to blog now, especially in the Internet marketing realm. You made the right choice to start blogging here. It is the best way, imho, to connect yourself (or your business) to the world. Well…hopefully we can learn a lot this year. Best luck for your blogging and Internet marketing journey.
